Emilio Bernardo-Ciddio’s time at York University has always been split between his experiences as a music major, focusing on trumpet performance and music administration, and a love for leadership, teamwork, and discussion as an engaged student leader on campus. Upon discovering Model United Nations, Emilio found a way to experience both sides of his academic interests through the fast paced and creative environment of MUN.
In his time within the International Relations Student Association at York, he has been active in a range of positions from delegate to the Director of Internal Affairs. Emilio will be serving as the Secretary General in the inaugural year of YUMUN where he will work to celebrate and develop the potential and progress of MUN with his esteemed guest delegates. When he isn’t busy with commitments and work, Emilio can be found tending to his plants, learning languages, relaxing with a book or a video game, and finding new ways to contribute to a greener and freer future.
